“Homeward Bound”

Take me home when You’re ready
To the place You have made for me,
To my mansion on high, where You’ve called me nigh
And where I have longed to be.

To be dwelling there with my Savior
And those who have gone before,
With angels around us, and love to surround us
Who would ever want more?

I wait for Your call to come homeward
My time is dependent on You,
My life’s in Your hands, like the sea’s shifting sands
I rejoice as I’m waiting for You.

Jesus said, “In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me┬áthat you also may be where I am.” John 14:2-3
