His Majesty

The sky is blue, the sun shines bright
The darkness comes, and yields to night.
We can’t control God’s perfect plan
And what is accomplished by His hand.
He set the sun and moon in place;
We live and breathe by His grace.
He’s in control of all we see
And will always and forever be!

O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth!

How can we not worship You with praise and thanksgiving?  You have created the earth and all that is in it.  You have created man and given us all things to enjoy.  You give beauty to each day and night and season of each year.  You show us through the majesty of Your creation Your majesty and glory!

Even on cloudy days Your Son shines brightly because He lives in our hearts.  Even on the darkest nights, His light shines before us to show us the way.  I will praise You, Father, all the day long and I will speak of Your goodness that comes in the dark of night.  You are the refuge we seek and always find because You hear our cry for help no matter what time of day or night.  You enjoy the time we spend with You and You bless us with Your presence as we joyfully revel in our relationship with You.  You rule and reign forever!

You are in control of the sun, stars and moon and You are in control of man.  You can be trusted to bless the seeking heart with an understanding of who You are and the truth of Your Word.  I sing Your praises as I share Your love and the abundant life You offer in the gift of Jesus Christ.

O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth!

Psalm 9:1&2 – I will praise You, O Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all Your wonders.  I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High.

John 10:10b – “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
