Rain falling from a darkened sky
Like heavy hearts prone to cry.
Rain cleans the ground, tears clean the soul
So let the rain and teardrops flow.
The earth needs rain and hearts need tears
To grow and change throughout the years.
So never pray the rain away
Or save the tears for another day.
Both are appointed from God’s hand
For a hungry heart and a sun scorched land.
He washes and makes all things new
His universe and me and you…

…In Christ all things become new. His blood washes our sins away. Our souls are made clean. Our lives are made fresh. Seeds that are planted from His Word, sprout and grow. Like rain for the crops, our tears are part of the maturing process. Through the work of the Holy Spirit, our lives will yield an abundant testimony – all to the glory of God. Our highs (joy) and lows (sorrow), is just the right mix for necessary growth. There is a time for laughter and a time for tears.

To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven:… a time to weep and a time to laugh…
~Ecclesiastes 3:1&4~

…not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit.
~Titus 3:5~

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
~1 John 1:9~
