Redemption (Dedicated to the One I love)

I recently had a discussion
With someone I love very much.
This someone needs redemption;
The love of the Savior’s touch.
The picture of a sinner
Needing to pay his debt,
Is how this special someone
Sees God, the Father and yet –
His judgement of death for sin
We all commit in life,
Offers redemption for us all
Through our Savior, Jesus Christ.
If we could attain perfection
By living by His rules,
We’d have no need for the Savior
Who is holy and just and true!
I pray this one I love so much
And who God loves so much more,
Will see that He provides
What she is looking for;
That Jesus died so she could gain
What only He can give,
Forgiveness and salvation
And the reason for her to live!

I see so clearly that without Jesus dying for me, I would be lost in my sin – forever. He paid the penalty once and for all. He wasn’t just a wonderful man, a great teacher, a prophet as some say about Him. He was and is my Redeemer. He is the Redeemer of and for us all and when we recognize, acknowledge and accept this wonderful and awesome truth, repent of our sin, and receive Christ as the Savior He is, we are saved for eternity. I share His love with those I love so they, too, will receive this wonderful gift of salvation God offers through His Son because He loves us all and gives purpose to our lives. Our hope is in Christ. Our Redeemer lives!

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace…
Ephesians 1:7

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus…
Romans 3:23,24

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
John 3:16
